NCAPHA IS ACTIVELY RECRUITING FOR A CONTRACT POSITION TO BE PLACE AT THE ROBESON COUNTY HEALTH DEPT.

 

 

POSITION VACANCY

 

TITLE:          Improving Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health Coordinator

                    

 

DUTIES:  Employee in this position will service Robeson and Scotland counties, using a Collective Impact framework, with an emphasis on health equity.  Provide outreach and education and increase the number of healthcare providers in regards to Long-acting reversible contraception.   Assist in the efforts to address breastfeeding by implementation of the Ten Steps for Successful Breastfeeding.   Assist in the implementation of the Clinical Effort Against Second Hand Smoke Exposure (CEASE) in child health settings.   Work to maintain the Community Action Team (CAT).

 

This is a 40 hour per week grant funded position that will be contracted through the North Carolina Alliance for Public Health.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:   A master’s degree in public health education or in public health with a major in public health education; or graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in health education and two years’ experience in public health education or a related field; or graduation from a four-year college or university and three years’ experience in public health education; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

 

SALARY:  $42,000
