NCAPHA is actively recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker position placed at the Hoke County Health Department.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Salary $35 to $45 an hour (commensurate with experience)

Full-time (40 hours/week)

Role and Responsibilities

*  Responsible for providing direct and indirect mental health treatment services to clients individually and in

group or family sessions, regarding behavioral, psychological or emotional problems.

*  Act as a client advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis

situations.

* Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists, as necessary.

* Provide case consultation and specialized services for special program coordination and management related

to Substance Misuse and Suicide, as needed.

*Travel required includes Community Outreach, trainings, meetings, presentations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Master’s degree (M.S.) in social work from an appropriately accredited institution.  Licensed to practice therapy in the state of North Carolina through accreditation with the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.

Preferred Skills

Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
