The Immunization Coordinator shall be responsible for managing the Immunization Program and performing professional nursing duties related to clinical management of patients through the lifecycle. The Immunization Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the immunizations within federal, state, and local guidelines. The nurse ensures that all program requirements are met by the department. The Immunization Patient Coordinator shall perform duties in all public health clinical areas to include basic and specialized patient care and treatment, screening, counseling, education, referral and follow. This is a time limited position that will be available based on continued funding.
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of public health experience; or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one of which must have been in public health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Public Health Program Coordinator experience preferred. Must have a current license to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.
Grade 73 $56,493 to $62,358 Commensurate with experience.
