The Primary Care/Communicable Disease Program Coordinator will perform professional nursing duties related to adult primary care and communicable disease services and care management. The nurse will perform all nursing duties within federal, state, and local guidelines. The nurse will perform duties in all public health clinical areas to include basic primary, preventive, and rehabilitative care, treatment, counseling, education, screening, and follow up. This is a time limited position that will be available based on continued funding.
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of public health experience; or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one of which must have been in public health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Public Health Program Coordinator experience preferred. Must have a current license to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.
Grade 73 $56,493 to $62,358 Commensurate with experience.
