2007 Overview

2007 was certainly an exciting year of change and growth for the Alliance. We have indeed been "Growing in New Directions" in many ways. We are excited to share our year's achievements with you and we look forward to serving you in the future.

2007 Achievement Highlights:

  • Growing and Expanding Alliance Staffing: In the past year, Alliance Staffing added 89 employees to its workforce. That's 30 more employees in 2007 than in 2006. The number of counties served has also grown from 17 counties served in years past to 25 counties served in 2007. In addition, the Alliance served The Northeastern Partnership.
  • 100% Membership: In 2007, every North Carolina Health Department was an Alliance member. Thank you for your support.
  • Continued Use of the Environmental Health Component: In 2007, Alliance Staffing provided environmental health services to 6 counties across the state to include Brunswick, Lenoir, Greene, Catawba, New Hanover and Surry.
  • Development of the 'confluence' of Public Health Associations of NC: In November 2006, the Alliance became a part of the Public Health Associations of NC and established a corporate office in Raleigh, NC. All personnel and payroll records are now housed at that location. The Alliance took part in the 2007 State Health Director's Conference as well as the 2007 North Carolina Public Health Association Conference and looks forward to participating in future combined efforts as a part of the Public Health Associations of NC.
