NCAPHA is actively recruiting for Public Health Nursing Supervisor I position placed at Randolph County Health Department.

JOB TITLE: Public Health Nursing Supervisor I
DEPARTMENT: Public Health
SALARY: Based on experience
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Provides direct supervision to multidisciplinary case managers for the CMARC (Care Management for At-Risk Children) and CMHRP (Care Management for High-Risk Pregnancy) programs. Provides daily management to ensure that programs operate smoothly following local, state, and federal guidelines. Communicates policy and procedure changes to staff, carries a caseload during staff absences, serves as a resource to case management staff, and participates on the Public Health Preparedness Team.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Master’s in Nursing and two years of Public Health nursing experience; or graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and three years of Public Health nursing experience; or a Master’s in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of Public Health Nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and four years of professional nursing experience three of which must have been in Public Health; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Preference given to applicants with Public Health Nursing Supervisory experience.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: A current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing. Requires valid N.C. driver’s license. Case management experience preferred.
